《Care Instructions》
● Due to the manufacturing process, fine stains may adhere to the inner surface. When using for the first time, wash thoroughly with dish soap and a sponge, then rinse.
● After use, wash thoroughly with dish soap and a sponge, wipe off moisture, and dry. If not cleaned properly, white stains may appear, which are residues of trace elements in tap water. They are harmless if ingested.
● Do not use steel wool, scouring powder, or the like. It will scratch the surface and cause cracks or peeling.
《Regarding Rust Formation》
● The main body is made of steel plate and coated with enamel. Due to the nature of enamel, it is difficult to apply enamel glaze to the edges of the steel plate, making it prone to rust.
● Cracks or peeling of the enamel also cause rust.
● Even if rust forms, iron rust is not harmful to the human body.
● If rust forms, wash it off with a sponge as soon as possible, wipe off moisture, and dry.
《Regarding the Rim Band》
● A stainless steel ring is attached to protect the rim of the main body from impact.
● Do not soak. Water may enter inside the ring, causing rust.
● After use, especially wipe the rim band area with a soft cloth to remove moisture and dry before storing.
《Regarding the Handle/Knob (Wooden)》
● Cracks may occur on the handle and knob depending on usage. If a crack spreads, it is dangerous and should not be used.
《Precautions for Use》
● The main body, handle, and knob will be hot during and immediately after boiling water. Always use mitts to prevent burns. Be especially careful to keep out of reach of children due to the risk of burns.
● Use the kettle by placing it stably in the center of the stove.
● Ensure the flame does not extend beyond the bottom. This can burn the handle and cause danger. It also produces an unusual smell. Adjust the direction so that the flame of the adjacent burner does not hit the handle.
● Do not use if the handle or knob is loose. It may fall off and cause burns. If the knob is screwed on, tighten the screw before use.
● Do not use the handle or knob if it is wobbly or damaged, and do not attempt to modify or repair it, as this is dangerous.
● Never boil dry. Boiling dry can cause fire, deformation of the main body, damage to the handle or knob, burns, and cracks or peeling of the enamel. If you accidentally boil dry, let it cool naturally without adding water.
● If you boil dry, do not cool it rapidly by adding water. Rapid cooling can cause cracks, peeling, or deformation of the enamel, which is glass-like.
● Do not use with water filled to the brim.
● To prevent overflow, use within the recommended water level.
● When heating, raise the handle. Using it with the handle down can cause overheating and burns. It can also cause accidents if the handle breaks.
● Always turn off the heat after boiling.
● Pouring immediately after boiling may cause hot water to splash, posing a burn risk. Wait at least 20 seconds before pouring.
● When pouring hot water, do not pour at a steep angle. Hot water may overflow from between the main body and the lid, or the lid may come off, causing burns.
● Hot water may drip from the spout.
● Do not use without the lid. Overheating of the handle can cause burns or detachment.
● The surface may discolor or crack if exposed to high temperatures, even if not boiled dry. Especially when boiling with a very small amount of water, the parts without water can become very hot, causing discoloration or cracks. Pay close attention to the amount of water and heat.
● When cleaning, be careful not to let water enter the handle or knob.
● Do not subject to strong impact, such as dropping from a height. Enamel is glass-like, so it can cause cracks, peeling, breakage, or deformation.
● When brewing barley tea, medicinal herbs, or using with alcoholic beverages, the inner surface may become discolored depending on the ingredients.
● To ensure efficient heating, wipe off any water droplets, foreign matter, or dirt from the bottom of the kettle.
● Do not use on a stove, as it is dangerous.
● Do not use in a microwave oven. It may cause malfunction of the microwave or fire.
