Angle has a history of 130 years this year, continuing to make underwear that emphasizes Japanese production. They once supplied underwear to Emperor Showa as "Purveyor to the Imperial Household." Their signature product is Asamerry. As the name suggests, it is an innerwear that achieves a cool touch like linen with cotton, and it has been a long-selling item loved for over 70 years.
This Asamerry was proposed as a T-shirt that can be worn as a single piece in spring and summer by "" in the previous collaboration. Following that, this time it has been updated to a sweatshirt perfect for autumn and winter evening outings, named "Yorumery."
The characteristic of Asamerry is its "crispness," which is created by using original yarn that is strongly twisted and gas-singed to remove fuzz.
This time, using the same yarn as Asamerry, we have knitted a fleece-backed fabric for the first time.
The face yarn is 110-denier double-ply yarn of Asamerry's strong-twisted, gas-singed yarn, the middle yarn is a core-spun yarn with 2% polyester to provide kickback and firmness, and the back yarn is 40-denier double-ply cotton yarn for a fine and skin-friendly touch. The knitting is done by Miwa Textile Industry, a close friend of Daibakusho, with a 36-gauge dense knit for a luxurious appearance. This is then treated with Fujibo Textile's highest softening process, "Macsoft Premium," to sublimate Asamerry into a high-quality sweatshirt.
Sepia Brown is a color carefully selected in line with Angle's "Retro Modern" theme. It is an adult outerwear that can be worn elegantly while providing a relaxed feel.
