Clear flowing water that washes away misfortune

This is an objet d'art created through a collaboration between Eguchi Doll Shop, which has been making the charming Yumino dolls in the Yumino district of Takeo City for over 140 years, and a French designer.

Inspired by the turtle and Princess Otohime of Ryugu-jo from the folk tale "Urashima Taro," it depicts the image of algae attached to the auspicious turtle's tail swaying in the water.

It was one of the popular works at the international craft fair "Révélations 2017" in Paris, depicting a world where multiple Otohime follow behind a thousand-year-old turtle carrying Urashima Taro, transcending time and space.

The egg-shaped objet with water patterns, wishing for happiness that lasts forever, is recommended to be displayed in multiples in a room, or as a gift for longevity celebrations or Mother's Day.
