This is an objet d'art created through a collaboration between Eguchi Doll Shop, which has been making the charming Yumino dolls for over 140 years in the Yumino district of Takeo City, and a French designer.

It is inspired by the turtle and Princess Otohime of Ryugu-jo from the folk tale "Urashima Taro." The scales of the auspicious turtle's feet are depicted as the auspicious Seigaiha pattern.

This was one of the popular works at the international craft fair "Révélations 2017" in Paris. It depicts a world where multiple Otohime princesses follow behind a millennia-old turtle carrying Urashima Taro, transcending time and space.

The egg-shaped objet with the Seigaiha pattern, wishing for eternal happiness like gentle waves, is recommended to be displayed in multiples in a room, or as a gift for longevity celebrations or Mother's Day.
