FS Linen Ankle Boy's Loose Boy Fit Linen Denim

■Design

The popular ankle boy's fit features a deep rise and a wide boy fit silhouette. The internal waistband uses adjustable buttonhole elastic, allowing for waist adjustment. This eliminates the tightness characteristic of high-rise styles and creates an elegant, beautiful waistline that doesn't gap. The moderately wide silhouette, which doesn't cling to the body's lines, is also a pleasing point. While appearing like authentic denim on the outside, the inner surface that touches the skin is made of highly absorbent linen yarn. It offers excellent breathability and sweat absorption, allowing you to stay cool even in the height of summer.

■Material: Burkina Linen Denim

A cotton-linen denim using Burkina Faso cotton from West Africa for the warp threads (threads that easily affect the fabric's surface) and 100% European linen yarn for the weft threads (threads that easily affect the fabric's underside). It looks like denim, but the side that touches the skin is linen. Compared to regular denim (approx. 700g), it is about half the weight (approx. 350g) and is extremely lightweight, making it a representative fabric of "caqu" that is active from spring to early autumn. The comfortable-to-the-touch linen-blend cotton material makes it a pair of pants that can be worn coolly in spring and summer.

■Processing: rinse (one-wash)

The fabric is washed once at the processing factory and then dried in a high-heat dryer. The product will not shrink significantly when washed at home.

■Processing: 1year/3years

This is an image of colors that have faded over the years indicated in the color name, starting from unwashed. Through the artisan's hand-applied "all-over rubbing" technique, we pursue fading that is identical to actual wear, even in the darker areas. The shaving (rubbing) technique applies the principles of makeup that utilize light and shadow, creating an effect that makes the shins appear longer and the knees higher, meticulously calculated to make the entire body look three-dimensional and smart.

■Social Contribution of Friendship Denim Series

Burkina Faso, the origin of the cotton used in Friendship Denim, is one of the world's poorest countries. For the children of Burkina Faso, 250 yen per pair sold from Friendship Denim is donated annually through the NPO Burkina Faso Friendship Association, based on the number of pairs sold in a year. The donations collected from various companies are used to fund national elementary schools, agricultural training centers, and wells.
