The design allows the string to be neatly tucked away by passing it through the single belt loop on the front, enabling easy waist adjustment and wear without a belt. The pockets, intentionally placed on the front rather than the sides, are a distinctive feature. Furthermore, the moderately wide silhouette does not cling to the body's lines, creating a beautiful silhouette that is a pleasing point. On the outside, they look like authentic denim, but the inside that touches the skin is made of moisture-absorbent linen yarn. They are breathable and sweat-absorbent, allowing you to stay cool and refreshed even in the intense heat of midsummer.
■Material: Burkina Linen Denim
This cotton-linen denim uses Burkina Faso cotton, located in West Africa, for the warp threads (threads that easily affect the outer surface of the fabric) and 100% European linen yarn for the weft threads (threads that easily affect the inner surface of the fabric). It looks like denim but feels like linen against the skin. Compared to regular denim (approx. 700g), it is about half the weight (approx. 350g), making it extremely lightweight and a signature fabric of "SOU" that can be worn from spring to early autumn. The cotton material with a pleasant-to-the-touch linen blend allows for cool wear even in spring and summer.
■Processing: Rinse (One Wash)
The fabric is washed once at the processing factory and dried in a high-heat dryer. The product will not shrink significantly when washed at home.

This color is inspired by wearing the garment for the number of years indicated in the color name, starting from an unwashed state. Through the artisan's manual "all-over scrubbing" process, we pursue a fade that is identical to actual wear, even in the darker areas. The shaving (scrubbing) technique applies the principles of makeup that utilizes light and shadow, creating an effect that makes the knee position appear higher and the lower leg look longer, with meticulous calculations to make the entire body look three-dimensional and smart.

Burkina Faso, the origin of the cotton used in Friendship Denim, is one of the world's poorest countries. For the children of Burkina Faso, we donate an amount equivalent to 250 yen per pair sold, multiplied by the number of pairs sold in a year, through the NPO Burkina Faso Friendship Association. The donations collected from various companies are used to fund national elementary schools, agricultural training centers, and wells.
