■Gauze Pajamas Born from Two Traditional Techniques
These gauze pajamas are a collaboration with Kyoto Monpu, founded in 1915, featuring their signature "Kuro Monpu Dyeing."
Kyoto Monpu has been dyeing black formal wear, the traditional Japanese formal attire, for 100 years.
These Kuro Monpu dyed gauze pajamas use a unique dyeing and processing technology called "Deep Black Processing" which further enhances the black color.
Because the dye penetrates deep into the fibers, it is resistant to fading, achieving a chic and calm impression of black.
They can be used for a long time, regardless of gender or age.
The double-layered Kyoto Wasai Cotton Gauze, made using the traditional Wasai method, differs from regular double gauze. By not securing the layers of gauze after stacking them, a sufficient air layer is created, increasing breathability. This high breathability, combined with the inherent excellent absorbency of gauze, quickly wicks away sweat, maintaining a dry feel. It suppresses stickiness and stuffiness, keeping the internal environment of the garment comfortable, allowing you to sleep comfortably throughout the long seasons from spring to autumn.
■Manufacturing Method for a Comfortable Feel
Kyoto Wasai Cotton Gauze is made using the Wasai method, which takes four days to remove impurities and dirt from deep within the fibers. Since the damage to the fibers is less than with regular bleaching processes, the result is a fluffy and soft finish. This minimizes friction with the skin, making it safe for people with sensitive skin.
Furthermore, as you wear and wash them repeatedly over a long period, the gauze becomes even softer, contributing to a higher quality sleep.
With zero formaldehyde, it is safe for people with sensitive skin and atopic conditions.
■Handling Precautions
As this is a very delicate material, it is weak against pulling forces. If excessive stress is applied to the fabric, it may tear from the seams. Please be careful not to apply excessive force when wearing.
Also, when washing, please hand wash or use a washing machine's hand wash cycle with a laundry net.

■Care Instructions
・As it is a plant-based natural fiber, it will fade if exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. Be sure to dry in the shade.
・When washing, please use a laundry net and avoid using a tumble dryer.
・For the first to third washes, there may be color fading or transfer, so please wash separately from white or light-colored items.
・Please use a non-fluorescent detergent.
・After washing, smooth out the wrinkles on all sides and dry while maintaining the shape.
・With each wash, the texture will improve, and you can enjoy its natural softness.
