Utilizing the high absorbency of "YUKINE," we used "hollow weft threads" during weaving to create a light, soft, and pleasant-to-the-touch fabric. It features raglan sleeves for a wide range of shoulder movement, and a compact silhouette from the elbow to the cuff to prevent bulkiness. Designed to serve as an alternative to a bath towel, the hood and front opening are roomy, while maintaining a well-balanced overall silhouette.
"Atozarashi," a characteristic of Senshu towels, is the process of washing away oils, dirt, and sizing agents from the cotton threads that adhere to the woven fabric. "YUKINE" undergoes this ato-zarashi process with double the effort. This maximizes the inherent absorbency of cotton.
All products use organic cotton.
While inheriting the techniques of Senshu towels, we want to continue pursuing "what truly makes a good towel." To achieve this, it is necessary to leverage the technical capabilities cultivated by tradition and実績, and to have the creativity to respond to changing times. SHINTO TOWEL will challenge new manufacturing by looking at products from various angles, including materials, functions, and design.
