N-2(A&B) HERITAGE

The N-2 series was born in the early 1950s as a flight jacket for the heavy zone (-10°C to -30°C).
Royal blue is the N-2A (SPEC.MIL-J-6278)
Sage green is the N-2B (SPEC.MIL-J-6278D)
Comes with a box tag to secure the oxygen mask.
Design features ICS cord loops.
The material is Japanese-made nylon, characteristic of the HERITAGE line.
The padding is thick wool moss, a blanket material.
The ribs are 100% wool tube ribs.

【N-2A】
A flight jacket issued at the founding of the U.S. Air Force.
A characteristic of the N-2A is its attractive deep blue color, Air Force Blue, the designated color of the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s.
It also has a large hood, large enough to completely cover a helmet, designed for use in extreme cold. The hood uses large fur around the collar and is lined with wool throughout for perfect cold protection.
The design is also interesting, with an additional zipper on the hood that allows it to be opened and draped to the sides. This was designed to prevent the large hood from becoming a burden around the neck when not needed.
It also features a box tag in the center of the chest to secure the oxygen mask, and ICS loops (loops for securing cords) for hooking the oxygen mask.

【N-2B】
A cold-weather flight jacket adopted by the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s.
The N-2A's Air Force Blue (U.S. Air Force flight suit designated color) was found to be too conspicuous in actual combat, leading to the development of the N-2B in the late 1950s with a change in color to sage green.
It follows the design of the N-2A and is a heavy-zone (-10°C to -30°C) flight jacket with excellent cold protection.
