A long-established maker from Senshu, Osaka — the birthplace of Japanese towels — has created a practical towel suited to Japanese homes and lifestyles.

This bath towel features a somewhat nostalgic design expressing the auspicious motif combining the spreading "fan" and the "tortoise shell" in a textured weave.

The pile yarns use "aged cotton" that has been saturated with plenty of water for a long period, giving a fluffy soft feel and excellent absorbency.

The distinctive pattern, with different faces on the front and back, is considered auspicious and is also recommended as a celebratory gift.

Care	Use a neutral detergent at temperatures up to 30°C. Avoid detergents containing chlorine bleach; drying in the shade is recommended. Using drum-type washing machines or tumble dryers may cause wrinkles, shrinkage, deformation, or lint loss.
Notes	Prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or strong fluorescent light may cause discoloration. If left wet with sweat or water for long periods, discoloration or color transfer to other items may occur. If using an iron, use a low temperature up to 120°C and place a cloth between the iron and the fabric.
