-While enjoying Nora Sauna in various situations today, you used the FREAK'S STORE's show window and fitting room. How was it?
"The inside of the show window is narrow, like being with mannequins, and there are lights and no air conditioning, so it's suitable for sauna. When the sun hits it, it gets very hot. I've been to all the regular saunas and have no interest in them anymore. So, the cold stares from the street, the 'What is that guy doing?' looks, combined with direct sunlight and electricity, felt just right."
-As an amateur, I would think the fitting room, which doesn't get sunlight, wouldn't be suitable for Nora Sauna. What do you think?
"Well, the position of the store staff is also important. If I think about whether they are waiting outside for me to come out after changing, I naturally start to sweat. In daily life, when something unpleasant happens and you sweat, right? That's just a sauna. It's a waste not to realize that."
-Is that sweat also the same as sauna sweat?
"When you get nervous and break out in a cold sweat, people say 'I'm sweating unpleasantly,' but there's no such thing as unpleasant sweat; sweat is sweat. It's like voluntarily going to a sauna. When you think, 'Ah, this is a terrible world,' that means you've achieved 'entei' (calmness). Everyone says 'entei' in the sauna, right? I call it 'katadzuku' (tidying up)."
-That's the height of mastery. What Nora Sauna spots are you hoping to challenge next, Mr. Sauna-da?
"It's hot now, so in the summer, anywhere can be a sauna, which makes it difficult to choose. When I walk around town, I can get heat between vending machines, and when it rains, I can immediately experience asphalt sauna. Hmm, people's backs would be interesting."
