This is a utility base created by a collaboration between "ONEME," which proposes items focused on Japanese technology and materials,
and MUDDY.
Taking advantage of the material, which is resin yet resembles pottery,
we hope you will find it useful in your daily life as a flower vase, a toothbrush holder, or for storage around the kitchen.
MUDDY is produced in a workshop in Yamanaka Lacquerware, Kaga City, Ishikawa Prefecture, one of Japan's leading lacquerware production areas.
Each piece is carefully coated by skilled lacquer artisans,
resulting in a warm item with a unique charm, featuring drips and unevenness in the coating that cannot be achieved by machines.
We intentionally embrace characteristics such as air bubbles and color unevenness as appealing features,
incorporating them as unique expressions where no two items are exactly alike.
The simple form, easy to hold and use, fits smoothly into your hands and your life.
