"GOKUSAI" - A stole with "extremely" fine threads and "exquisite" colors.
Recommended as a reward for yourself or as a gift for a special day or a special person. This thin, large stole is lightweight and can be used in various ways, such as wrapping or draping. The texture, made from extremely fine silk, combines lightness and softness. By pre-dyeing the threads in four colors, a subtle gradation is created, and you can enjoy the chambray effect where the color changes depending on the angle.
Because high-quality, fine silk threads are used, production is difficult, and only about 4 pieces can be woven per day, making each one precious.

Original yarn developed jointly by muto and a spinning company. Because silk and cashmere are blended, the material has luster, a moist feel, softness, and warmth. By slowly and carefully weaving on traditional looms, air is incorporated, resulting in a stole that is more comfortable against the skin.
We use silk threads called 14-naka, which are one-third the thickness of a human hair. Among silks, this is a high-quality and rare thread, so it is delicate and easily breaks, making production difficult.
The beauty and characteristics of yarns such as cashmere, silk, linen, Japanese paper, and organic cotton are the harmony of textiles, organizing their rhythm. We also inherit the weaving traditions passed down in the Fuji Hokuroku region, mainly using traditional looms, and constantly refine our "weaving mastery" techniques to maximize the characteristics of the materials, striving to create Japanese masterpieces that can be boasted to the world.
