Tanba Sansen KS-1

The large black bean kuzumochi made with Tanba beans contains plump, large Tanba black beans cooked within the kuzumochi. The kuzumochi dough uses the black bean simmering liquid. The fragrant black bean kinako (roasted soybean flour) and kuromitsu (black sugar syrup) have an excellent compatibility.

Goma dofu (sesame tofu) is made from carefully roasted fragrant sesame seeds, kneaded meticulously using our unique method, and is a genuine sesame tofu for kaiseki cuisine. The hon-yoshino kuzu used is the highest grade "Inishie" from the 450-year-old long-established Morino Yoshino Kuzu Honpo, founded during the Southern Court period. It is purified using the traditional Yoshino晒し method during the coldest season and is aged kuzu (aged for over a year). You can enjoy the smoothness and elasticity unique to hon-yoshino kuzu.

For the goma dofu, enjoy it as is with wasabi and soy sauce. It is also delicious served as a soup ingredient, in chawanmushi (savory egg custard), or as agedashi dofu (deep-fried tofu).
