A cold-weather flight jacket adopted by the U.S. Air Force in the 1950s. The N-2A's Air Force Blue was problematic as it stood out in combat, leading to the prompt development of the N-2B in Sage Green in the late 1950s. It followed the N-2A's design and is a heavy-zone (-10°C to -30°C) flight jacket with excellent cold protection.
