This is a collaboration collection between adidas and Edison Chen, the founder of the Hong Kong-based street brand "CLOT".
This pair is based on adidas' timeless masterpiece "Superstar", fused with the essence of dress shoes like leather shoes, finished with an elegant and avant-garde hybrid design.
The entire upper, down to the iconic shell toe, is unified in deep dark blue premium suede. Unlike the rubber toe found on regular Superstars, the entire shoe is covered in rich textured material, giving it a chic appearance.
The border between the upper and the sole is adorned with leather welts and stitching, reminiscent of leather shoes. This creates a classic and substantial atmosphere, like that of a dress shoe, despite being a sneaker.
The outsole features a distinctive serrated shark sole.
The layered structure with a white midsole and a clean tan outsole gives the footwear an overwhelming presence and a modern edge.
