・The front dual zip ventilation allows outside air to be drawn into the garment through two rows of zippers and mesh fabric placed between them, releasing uncomfortable heat and humidity that tends to build up inside the jacket.
・Zippered pockets on both sides smartly enhance practicality.
・Pockets are placed on the inside of both chests and on both sides, ensuring storage and practicality necessary for urban life.
・The drawcord hidden inside the pocket allows adjustment of the hem fit and silhouette without exposure to the outside air.
・Equipped with pit zip ventilation under the armpits to quickly dissipate heat accumulated inside the garment. It draws in outside air and efficiently releases uncomfortable heat and humidity that tends to build up.
・The snow cuff around the waist can prevent the intrusion of cold air and snow.

DESCENTE ALLTERRAIN
Descente Allterrain was born in 2012. The products, utilizing the know-how Descente has cultivated over many years in sportswear development, pursue "true craftsmanship" that is unaffected by age, scene, or trends, as its name, a portmanteau of "all" and "terrain," suggests. Starting with iconic items such as Mizusawa Down and hard shell jackets, all products are created under the concept of "Form Follows Function," meaning "everything has a reason and is a design accompanied by function." Descente fuses the craftsmanship and fashion sense cultivated through developing sports performance wear with top athletes worldwide. From 2023, two new categories, "Descente Allterrain 81" and "Descente Allterrain I/O," have been expanded.
MIZUSAWA DOWN
Mizusawa Down. It is the origin of Descente Allterrain. A single piece of apparel gave birth to a category, an unparalleled existence within Descente. This high-performance down jacket, which concentrates advanced technology within its distinctive minimalist appearance, was born from the special techniques and accumulated know-how of Descente Apparel Mizusawa Factory [former Mizusawa City, Iwate Prefecture (now Oshu City)], which has a rare integrated production system for down wear in Japan. The development of Mizusawa Down started with an approach to solve the problems of down jackets, such as the loss of insulation when down gets wet due to water penetration through seams. By adopting a special thermal bonding technology for forming down packs, seams were eliminated, and for areas requiring sewing, such as sleeves, seam tape processing was applied to the back, creating new value of "waterproofing" and "water resistance" for down jackets. From cutting, down pack formation, thermal bonding, to down filling, every process is shaped one by one by experienced craftsmen. Mizusawa Down, named after the factory, has been proposing functionality that sets it apart from conventional down jackets since its birth in 2008, supported by fans worldwide, and continues to evolve.
