The temple arms are also a newly developed narrow type, creating a sleek overall impression and adding a moderate accent.
■ Photochromic Lens
Photochromic lenses change their brightness depending on the amount of UV light. The lenses darken when exposed to strong UV rays outdoors and become brighter in places with weak UV rays, such as indoors. Polycarbonate is used for the material, and its characteristic is that it is extremely difficult to break (30 times stronger than acrylic). It also has the property of not scattering easily even if it breaks.
It has the highest level of impact resistance among plastic materials, as it is used in airplane window glass, making it highly safe. It is difficult to crush even when hit with a hammer and is sometimes used in bulletproof materials.
■ Frame & Flexible Temple Arm
The frame material is TR-90, developed by EMS in Switzerland.
It is a lightweight material with high elasticity, shape memory, heat resistance, and moisture resistance.
It is also characterized by its resistance to degradation and long lifespan.
The temple arms of TYMER products (the part that goes over the ear, called the 'modern') have a built-in wire frame, allowing their shape to be changed by warming and applying gentle pressure.
Since the 'modern' greatly affects comfort and fit, it is designed to be changed to the optimal shape for each individual.
■ Nose Pad
TPR is used for the nose pads that come into contact with the skin.
TPR material, with its rubber-like properties and excellent oil and weather resistance, is gentle on the skin, providing a comfortable fit and excellent grip for active use.
Like the temple arms, the nose pad arms are also adjustable, designed to be changed to the optimal shape for each individual.
■ Temple Rubber
TPR is used on the inside of the temple arms.
The temple rubber is colored differently depending on the model.
TPR material, with its rubber-like properties and excellent oil and weather resistance, is gentle on the skin, providing a comfortable fit and excellent grip for active use.
■ Hinge (5-barrel hinge)
Kanghua's nickel silver is used for the barrel hinge. In addition to the corrosion resistance characteristic of nickel silver, it has high strength at high temperatures and is an excellent alloy widely used in both corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Also, a 5-barrel hinge is used instead of the generally common 3-barrel hinge, making it strong against vertical forces and twisting.
All TYMER sunglasses come with a dedicated box and case.
The dedicated box is an original box made of newspaper pulp that can also be used as interior decor.
The case is made of neoprene material, which is resistant to water and stretching, and can be used for storage.
