While the slim finish of the entire frame gives a light impression in both appearance and wearability, the metal rivets (dot鋲) also create a classic look.
The lenses are photochromic lenses whose brightness changes with the amount of UV light.
■ Photochromic Lens
Photochromic lenses are lenses whose brightness changes with the amount of UV light. When exposed to strong UV rays outdoors, the lenses darken, and when in areas with weak UV rays, such as indoors, they become brighter. The material used is polycarbonate, which is characterized by its extreme resistance to breakage (over 30 times stronger than acrylic). It also has the property of being shatter-resistant if it does break.
It is used in airplane windows due to its high safety, making it one of the highest impact-resistant plastic materials. It is difficult to break even when hit with a hammer and is sometimes used as bulletproof material.
■ Frame & Flexible Temple Arms
The frame material is TR-90, developed by EMS in Switzerland.
It is a lightweight material with high springiness, shape memory, and excellent heat and moisture resistance.
It is also characterized by its resistance to degradation and long lifespan.
The part of the temple arms of TYMER products that goes over the ears (the tips) has a built-in wire frame, allowing the shape to be changed by warming and applying gentle pressure.
Since the tips greatly influence comfort and fit, they are designed to be changed to the optimal shape for each individual.
■ Nose Pads
TPR is used for the nose pads that come into contact with the skin.
TPR, a rubber-like material, has excellent oil and weather resistance, is gentle on the skin, provides a comfortable fit, and offers excellent grip for active use. Like the temple arms, the nose pad arms are also adjustable, designed to be changed to the optimal shape for each individual.
■ Temple Rubber
TPR is used on the inside of the temple arms.
The temple rubber is colored differently depending on the model.

■ Hinges (5-barrel hinge)
Kanghua's nickel silver is used for the barrel hinges. In addition to the corrosion resistance characteristic of nickel silver, it has high strength at high temperatures and is an excellent alloy widely used in both corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Furthermore, a 5-barrel hinge is used instead of the typical 3-barrel hinge, making it strong against vertical forces and twisting.
■ Dedicated Box and Included Case
All TYMER sunglasses come with a dedicated box and case.
The dedicated box is an original box made from newspaper pulp that can also be used as interior decor.
The case is made of neoprene, which is resistant to water and stretching, and can be used for storage.
