Long ago, when the "Yen" was the strongest in the world, immigrants called the city "Yentown".
The second feature film directed by Shunji Iwai, "Swallowtail", released in 1996. A multinational world where English, Chinese, and Japanese are mixed. Superb performances by a豪華 cast and numerous masterpieces produced by music director Takashi Kobayashi. This work, which continues to attract passionate fans over time, will be revived on screen with its unique worldview under the complete supervision of director Shunji Iwai, remastered in 4K and Dolby Atmos in this commemorative year of 2026, 30 years after its release. "Shenmei" (Tomoko Yamaguchi) is a sniper who acts with Ran (Atsuro Watabe) and fires weapons, embodying the atmosphere of the city of Yentown, without a clear explanation of "who she is".
