An art project called "OBEY" by Shepard Fairey, a master of the street art world, who began his career in 1989 with the technique of guerrilla-style posting of posters and stickers around town.
Currently, his activities have expanded significantly, with his works being exhibited in the permanent collections of museums worldwide, such as MoMA and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
In addition, Shepard Fairey is undoubtedly one of the leading artists of our time, creating various murals (wall paintings in towns) of different sizes around the world.
In parallel with his artistic activities, his apparel line, "OBEY Clothing," was born in Los Angeles, USA, in 2001 as a more accessible way to engage with his art.
The lineup, which retains the strong influence of music cultures such as skateboarding, punk, and rock that he has experienced, and sublimates Shepard Fairey's political stance as an artist into fashion, has continued to captivate youth worldwide for over 20 years since its inception.
