【GEVACO/Gevaco】
A long-established workwear manufacturer founded in Belgium in the 1960s.
It became famous as a manufacturer that produced workwear so durable it wouldn't tear even when pulled by a horse, featuring a cute brand icon of a horse wearing overalls.
Due to its durability, it was adopted as military uniforms for the Belgian army in its early days.
The brand ceased to exist in Belgium in the 1990s.
In 2021, a new "GEVACO" was launched in Japan, referencing past designs and details and arranging them in a modern style, although there is no connection to the original brand. (Application for trademark registration 2020-44488)
