SUB POP is an independent record label based in Seattle, Washington, USA. It is the label that many of the representative bands of the Grunge/Alternative generation, such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Mudhoney, first signed with.
Reproduces the big prints from the 90s. The front features a print of the SUB POP building in Seattle from its founding days. The back is inscribed with the sarcastic and humorous message "STILL THE MOST INDIE OF THE SELL OUTS". The term "SELL OUT" is deliberately used to express the pride of the indie scene against the mainstream.
The body is also meticulously crafted, with a 25mm wide neck rib, single stitching on the hem and sleeves, and all seams sewn with single lock stitching to recreate the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is tubular and made in the USA, then sewn and printed in Japan, making it a special item.
