"SUB POP" is an independent record label in Seattle, Washington, USA. It was the first label to sign many bands that represented the grunge and alternative generations, such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Mudhoney.
Reproducing the big print of the 90s. The front features a graphic of the 'PUNKY' character. The message on the back print tells a story of irony unique to an indie label. While white bodies were originally mainstream, this special edition was custom-ordered with a black body.
The body is also meticulously crafted, with a 25mm neck rib, single-stitched hem and sleeves (blind stitch), and all single-lock stitching, recreating the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is of course tubular knit. This is a special piece sewn and printed in Japan.
