"SUB POP" is an independent record label based in Seattle, Washington, USA. It is a label that many bands representing the Grunge/Alternative generation, such as Nirvana, Soundgarden, and Mudhoney, first signed with.
Reproduces the big prints from the 90s. The front features a graphic of the 'PUNKY' character. The message on the back print tells of the irony unique to independent labels. While white bodies were mainstream at the time, this is a special custom order in black.
The body has also been meticulously crafted, with a 25mm wide neck rib, single stitch finish on the hem and sleeves, and all seams sewn with single lock stitching to recreate the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is tube-knitted in the USA and then sewn and printed in Japan, making it a special piece.
