Nine Inch Nails (NIN) is a pioneering industrial rock project formed in the United States in 1988. It began as an essentially solo project by its central figure, Trent Reznor, and revolutionized the 90s music scene with its sound, which fused intricate electronic music with aggressive rock.
"Head Like a Hole" is one of their signature songs, featured on their monumental debut album "Pretty Hate Machine," released in '89. The cover design, symbolizing industrial aesthetics, was created by Gary Talpas, who collaborated with Trent Reznor to design early visuals and the NIN logo.
In 2025, he won a Grammy Award for his work as the music director for the film "Tron: Ares." He continues to be active, with reports of new Nine Inch Nails music and a tour starting in 2026.
The body is meticulously crafted, featuring a 25mm wide neck rib, single-stitched hems and sleeves (blind stitch), and all single-lock stitching, recreating the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, woven from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is of course tubular knit. This is a special piece sewn and printed in Japan.
