A long-established workwear manufacturer founded in Belgium in the 1960s.
It became famous as a manufacturer that produced workwear so durable it wouldn't tear even when pulled by a horse, with a cute brand icon of a horse wearing overalls.
From its founding, its durability led to its adoption as military uniforms for the Belgian army.
The brand disappeared in Belgium in the 1990s.
In 2021, although there is no connection to the original brand, a new "GEVACO" has started in Japan, referencing past designs and details and arranging them in a modern style. (Commercial Registration Application 2020-44488)
