#1 Why was 'LANA' chosen as the 50th anniversary bag?

As the brand approaches the significant milestone of its 50th anniversary, the IACUCCI family has spent a long time contemplating, "What kind of bag symbolizes the 50th anniversary?" Among the many masterpieces created, "LANA" was chosen as the icon that could best express IACUCCI now and in the future.
#2 The design story behind the studs
"Ordinary studs wouldn't do. I wanted to maintain the brand's 'elegance' without being too rock-like." - Nalu
While searching for a "special way" to express the 50th anniversary and producing countless prototypes, the studs that symbolize the design of this item caught their eye. Studs typically have a rock and casual impression. Therefore, to express IACUCCI's characteristic elegance, which is both understated and refined, a unique design was created where "half of the stud is embedded in the suede," and a matte silver finish was used. This resulted in an unprecedentedly delicate stud design that gently outlines the bag's silhouette, much like stitching done with silver-gray thread.
#3 What the IACUCCI family thinks about creating the anniversary bag
"The artisans were worried, thinking, 'What an audacious challenge!' But my resolve to bring this beauty to life never wavered." - Nalu
The studs that designer Nalu fell in love with were considered such a challenge that those around her called it "audacious."
Calculating the distance to the beautifully arranged stitching down to the millimeter, and before sewing the bag, the process of making holes, inserting, and crimping all 134 studs was done entirely by hand, on both sides – a painstaking process.
The bag, completed through the passion and hard work of these artisans, turned out so elegant that everyone was speechless. The craftsmanship and the spirit of exploration behind each product are condensed into this bag. The IACUCCI family agrees, "It consistently maintains IACUCCI's understated and elegant beauty while establishing a distinct individuality. There is no bag more fitting to celebrate the 50th anniversary." It is a testament to the craftsmanship honed in their own workshops over half a century.

Suede material, attractive for its delicate and elegant texture. It expresses the light, texture, and nuanced gray tones of the "Silver Beach" in Abruzzo, the brand's hometown.

Suede, finished by brushing the reverse side of the leather. To maintain the beauty of the nap, a meticulous process is followed, creating a soft yet refined appearance. The slightly longer nap highlights the natural texture of the material.

From the beautifully curved cutting on the sides, the chic "IACUCCI beige" eco-suede revealed upon opening the bag, to the exquisite finishing on the back of the studs, every detail has been meticulously calculated for a beautiful appearance. Not only is it aesthetically pleasing, but it also features a hidden magnetic closure for one-touch opening and closing. The wide opening allows for a surprisingly large capacity, embodying IACUCCI's philosophy of practicality that complements daily life. Furthermore, the included shoulder strap allows for arrangement according to the occasion. By applying a textured leather only to the underside of the strap, it prevents slipping from the shoulder, demonstrating meticulous attention to usability.
