2026 Summer Item
The new large Tachineputa "Sarutahiko Okami", produced for the first time in 2 years, is boldly printed on the front. Sarutahiko Okami, known as the god of opening paths, was chosen as the motif with the wish for the renewal of the Tachineputa Museum and the further development of this town.
On the back, the production years of the themes of past Tachineputa are printed in a list to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the revival of Tachineputa. Designed in the image of a tour T-shirt that is typical of FREAK'S STORE, it is finished as an item that allows you to enjoy tradition as fashion.
To further liven up the festival, we are recruiting participants to pull the large Tachineputa "Sarutahiko Okami" on August 4th at 7 PM from FREAK'S STORE customers for the first day.
Goshokawara Tachineputa features giant floats parading through the streets of Goshokawara city to the powerful囃子 (hayashi) and the chant of "Yatmare! Yatmare!". Each Tachineputa has a theme, and is adorned with intricate details and vibrant colors to express it.
