What are HEP Sandals...?
It is a brand developed by Kawato Footwear Store, founded in Nara Prefecture in 1952. With over 70 years of history, their main product, HEP Sandals, has been reimagined into a design that better suits modern times. The name HEP Sandals is said to come from the movie "Roman Holiday." It is said that Audrey Hepburn wore sandals in the movie, and they affectionately became known as HEP Sandals.
These long-loved slip-ons, worn by old movie stars, grandmothers, and neighborhood women, have been made smarter for urban wear.
Among the many styles, LaLa Begin focused on the 'HTL' model, inspired by clean and simple footwear worn in hotels.
