Gramicci × Yamakatsu Senko | Begin Bespoke Nagoya Black Dye Gramicci PANT

A unique pair of pants created by Begin, Gramicci, and Yamakatsu Senko, a traditional Japanese dyeing company, to address the issue of "inventory waste" by black-dyeing deadstock pants.

Craftsmen at the long-established "Yamakatsu Senko," founded in 1919, dye the pants a uniform jet black, so deep that the original color is unrecognizable.

The natural cotton material is dyed black, while the chemical fiber stitching and buttons retain their original colors. The undyed stitching adds a workwear-inspired accent.

Despite being black-dyed, the sizing remains the same, preserving Gramicci's signature beautiful silhouette.

These are the brand's classic climbing pants, loved for years, dyed from charcoal.
