【GEVACO/Gevaco】
A long-established workwear manufacturer founded in Belgium in the 1960s.
It became famous as a manufacturer that produced workwear so durable that it wouldn't tear even when pulled by horses, with a cute brand icon of a horse wearing overalls.
At the time of its founding, its durability was recognized, and it was adopted as military uniforms for the Belgian army.
The brand disappeared in Belgium in the 1990s.
In 2021, a new "GEVACO" was launched in Japan, referencing past designs and details and arranging them in a modern style, although there is no connection to the brand at that time. (Application for trademark registration 2020-44488)
