Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. Nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and with 4 platinum albums before disbanding in 2000, they were one of the representative alternative rock bands of the 90s. Reforming in 2006 with new members, and as of 2025, with all original members except the bassist, this is an officially licensed custom T-shirt from "SMASHING PUMPKINS". Their abbreviation in Japan is "Suma Pan".
Reproducing the large print from the 90s. This is a cover T-shirt for their momentous debut album "GISH". It was an unprecedented hit for an indie album at the time and was later certified platinum. This T-shirt features a now rare design using portraits of the original members from that time.
The body is also meticulously crafted, with a 25mm wide neck rib, single-stitched hems and sleeves (top and bottom stitching), and all single-lock stitching, recreating the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is of course tubular. This special piece is sewn and printed in Japan.
