Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. One of the representative bands of 90s alternative rock, nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and certified platinum for four albums before their disbandment in 2000. This is an officially licensed custom-made T-shirt from "SMASHING PUMPKINS," who restarted in 2006 with a lineup change and now features original members except for the bassist as of 2025. In Japan, they are commonly known as "Sumapan."
Reproducing the big prints from the 90s. This T-shirt features the cover art of their commemorative debut album "GISH." It was an unusually big hit for an indie album at the time and was later certified platinum. This is a rare T-shirt design featuring portraits of the original band members from that era.
The body also features meticulous attention to detail, recreating the atmosphere of the 90s with a 25mm wide neck rib, single stitch (top and bottom) finishing on the hem and sleeves, and all seams sewn with single lock stitching. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is tubular (seamless) and made in the USA. This special item is sewn and printed in Japan.
