An exclusive T-shirt with official "SONIC YOUTH" license, who reigned as a powerhouse of noise punk in the American indie scene from the 80s onwards.
Reproduces the big print from the 90s. This is a "WASHING MACHINE" T-shirt, simple and pop among the many band graphics. The artwork was handled by graphic designer "Mike Mills", who later became active as a film director. The origin of this graphic is said to be that in early 1995, there was consideration to temporarily change the band name to "WASHING MACHINE", and this washing machine graphic was born as part of that concept (there are various theories).
In September 2025, the album celebrated its 30th anniversary, and the band's official SNS posted a teaser with the number "2026" along with this washing machine graphic. New projects or reissues are expected towards 2026.
The body has also been meticulously crafted, with a 25mm wide neck rib, single stitch finish on the hem and sleeves, and all seams sewn with single lock stitching, recreating the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is tubular (seamless) and made in the USA. This is a special item sewn and printed in Japan.
