Nine Inch Nails (abbreviation: NIN) is a pioneering industrial rock project formed in America in 1988. It began as a de facto solo project by central figure Trent Reznor, and revolutionized the music scene of the 90s with its fusion of intricate electronic sounds and aggressive rock.
The commemorative debut album "Pretty Hate Machine," released in 1989, was a historic piece that pushed the then-maniacal industrial genre into the mainstream. The design, which elongates turbine blades to resemble ribs, was created by Gary Talpas, who also designed the early visuals and NIN logo in collaboration with central figure Trent Reznor.
In 2025, he won a Grammy Award for his work on the music for the movie "Tron: Ares." Nine Inch Nails continues to be active, with reports of new song production and a tour scheduled to begin in 2026.
The body has also been meticulously crafted, with a 25mm neck rib, single stitch (top and bottom) finish on the hem and sleeves, and all seams sewn with single lock stitching to recreate the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is of course tubular knit. This is a special item sewn and printed in Japan.
