Nine Inch Nails (NIN) is a pioneering industrial rock project formed in the United States in 1988. It began as essentially a solo project by Trent Reznor, and revolutionized the 90s music scene with its sound that fused intricate electronic music with aggressive rock.
The monumental debut album "Pretty Hate Machine," released in '89, was a historic work that pushed the then-niche industrial genre into the mainstream. The design, which stretched turbine blades to resemble ribs, was created by Gary Talpas, who also co-designed the early visuals and NIN logo with Trent Reznor.
In 2025, he won a Grammy Award for his work on the music for the film "Tron: Ares." He continues to be active, with reports of new Nine Inch Nails songs and a tour starting in 2026.
The body is also meticulously crafted, featuring a 25mm neck rib, single-stitched hems and sleeves, and all single-lock stitching, reproducing the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is, of course, tubular. This special piece is then sewn and printed in Japan.
