JOSEPH SZABO PRISCILLA TEE

American photographer Joseph Szabo taught photography at Malverne High School in Long Island, New York, from 1972 to 1999. His 1978 book, "Almost Grown," which documented the adolescence of teenagers, is regarded as a timeless masterpiece, and Szabo's works are permanently housed in the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
This photograph captures a teenage girl casually holding a cigarette, a sight that is now unrealistic, yet it portrays the subject with an intimate distance, expressing the delicate and fluctuating emotions of adolescence with unparalleled clarity. Szabo gained widespread recognition when the alternative rock band "Dinosaur Jr." featured this photograph on the cover of their fourth album.
The body of the shirt is meticulously crafted, featuring a 25mm neck rib, single-stitched hem and sleeves, and all single-lock stitching, reproducing the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is, of course, tubular. This special piece is then sewn and printed in Japan.
