80-90s USA POCKET TEE SUNFADE

The ultimate American basic pocket tee.
Appearing with a cotton texture and silhouette that matches modern tastes, based on American pocket tees that existed from the 80s to 90s.
The biggest feature is the "stretch-preventing tape applied to the upper seam on the back of the pocket (single-stitched, of course)". This faithfully reproduces a detail often seen in American pocket tees from the 80s and 90s, which was made as reinforcement for pens and sunglasses. Since double stitching is now mainstream, such sewing almost no longer exists, but it is a niche detail that vintage lovers will find irresistible. Although the functionality is different, it is said to be a detail similar to the selvedge (ear) in denim.
In addition, the 25mm wide neck rib, single-stitched (blind stitch) hem and sleeves, and all single-lock stitching reproduce the atmosphere of the time. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is, of course, tubular. It is then sewn in Japan.
This is a special piece with a unique processing that reproduces the damaged and sun-faded look of a favorite item that has been heavily worn.
