80-90s USA POCKET TEE

The ultimate American basic pocket tee.
Appearing with a cotton texture and silhouette that matches today's mood, based on American pocket tees that existed from the 80s to the 90s.
The biggest feature is the "stretch-preventing tape applied to the upper seam (single-stitched, of course) on the back of the pocket." This faithfully reproduces a detail often seen in American pocket tees from the 80s and 90s, which was made as reinforcement for holding pens and sunglasses. Currently, double stitching is the mainstream, so such stitching is almost non-existent, but it is a niche detail that vintage lovers will find irresistible. Although the functionality is different, it is said to be a detail similar to the selvedge (ear) in denim.
In addition, the 25mm wide neck rib, single-stitched (blind-stitched) hem and sleeves, and all single-lock stitching reproduce the atmosphere of the time. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is of course tubular. This is a special piece sewn in Japan.
