80-90s USA POCKET TEE

A pocket tee from America that existed from the 80s to the 90s, now available with a cotton texture and silhouette tailored to modern sensibilities.
The biggest feature is the "reinforcing tape on the upper seam of the pocket lining (single stitch, of course)". This is a faithful reproduction of a detail often found in American pocket tees from the 80s and 90s, made as reinforcement for holding pens, sunglasses, etc. Nowadays, double stitching is the mainstream, so this kind of sewing hardly exists, but it's a maniacal detail that vintage lovers will adore. While the function is different, it's said to be similar to the selvedge (ear) detail in denim.
Other details that reproduce the atmosphere of the time include a 25mm wide neck rib, single stitch (top and bottom hemming) finish on the hem and sleeves, and all seams are single lock.
