Formed in Chicago, Illinois in 1988. Nominated for 10 Grammy Awards and with four platinum albums before disbanding in 2000, they are one of the representative alternative rock bands of the 90s. This is a specially ordered T-shirt with an official license from "SMASHING PUMPKINS", which reformed in 2006 with new band members, and as of 2025, all but the bassist are original members. Their abbreviation in Japan is "Suma Pan".
Reproduces the big print from the 90s. The front features an angelic character, and the back reads "altitude not attitude". This T-shirt is a reproduction of one that was likely sold during the tour held in 1992, after the release of their 1991 debut album "Gish". The pop yet edgy artwork, characteristic of Smashing Pumpkins, is impressive.
The body is also meticulously crafted, with a 25mm wide neck rib, single-stitched hem and sleeves, and all seams single-locked, reproducing the atmosphere of the 90s. The 6.2 oz fabric, knitted from 100% American cotton, is made in the USA and is tubular. This is a special piece sewn and printed in Japan.
