■ Photochromic Lens
Photochromic lenses change brightness according to the amount of UV light.
When exposed to strong UV rays outdoors, the lenses darken, and in places with weak UV rays, such as indoors, they become brighter.
The material used is polycarbonate, which is characterized by its extreme resistance to breakage (over 30 times stronger than acrylic).
It also has the property of being shatter-resistant.
Its high safety, comparable to that used in airplane windows, makes it a top-class impact-resistant plastic material.
It is difficult to break even when struck with a hammer and is sometimes used in bulletproof materials.
