What I love about this skirt is the beautiful silhouette it creates when worn. By using the fabric below the switch diagonally against the grain, one side of the hem gently drops, creating a natural flare. Compared to forming a mermaid silhouette, it avoids being overly elegant, subtly creating movement. This alone makes the legs look beautiful and allows for good movement, which is a subtle yet irreplaceable highlight.
The waist is elasticated so it can be used for various styles. In addition to adjusting the waist position, it can also be worn as a bandeau dress by pulling it up to the chest. This season, with middle-length bottoms being in style, I expect to wear it pulled up to the chest more often.
