A completely unique special piece, vintage military shirts are adorned with full hand-stitched embroidery!
● Design
・Based on plain vintage military pants, this design features full hand-stitched embroidery.
・The embroidery is inspired by the background of Vietnam jackets (commonly known as "Vietjan").
・Vietjan are embroidered jackets that American soldiers stationed in Vietnam during the Vietnam War ordered from local tailors and brought back as souvenirs. Boldly embroidered with tigers, dragons, maps of Vietnam, messages, etc., they are symbolic souvenir jackets that embody the memories and atmosphere of the land at that time.
・In this work, the iconic map of Vietnam is expressed with colorful embroidery.
・This is a twisted pair of pants that deliberately incorporates the background where military wear and souvenir culture intersect into an item that "could never be a Vietjan" – pants.
● Silhouette
・Button fly specification with adjustable tabs at the waist.
・Flap pockets are placed on the hips, and a spindle is passed through the hem to allow for changes in silhouette.
・It also features a three-dimensional, balloon-like form with tucks at the knees.
・The overall fit is relaxed, with a balanced, less sweet feel.
・It can be worn by any gender and can be naturally incorporated by men.
● Craftsmanship
・Freada's first made-to-order item.
・Director Ogasawara personally hand-picked vintage clothing in Bangkok, and local artisans add full embroidery to each order.
・A single artisan sews an entire piece, a completely handmade specification that does not involve division of labor by process.
・Therefore, each piece has individual differences in texture and appearance, making each one a "true one-of-a-kind" in the world.
