■ Lenses
CR-39 is used, offering an excellent balance of reliability and optical performance.
CR-39 is a plastic material used for optical lenses, highly impact-resistant, and excellent in abrasion and scratch resistance.
It is also lightweight and comfortable for long wear, making it suitable for sports, activities, and daily use.
■ Frame & Flexible Temple Arms
The frame material uses TR-90, developed by EMS in Switzerland.
It is a lightweight material with high elasticity and shape memory, excellent heat and moisture resistance.
It also features slow degradation and a long lifespan.
The temple arms of TYMER products have a built-in wire frame in the part that hooks over the ear (end-piece),
allowing the shape to be adjusted by gently applying force after warming.
The end-piece significantly affects comfort and fit, so it is designed to be adjustable to the optimal shape for each individual.
■ Nose Pads
TPR is used for the nose pads that touch the skin.
TPR material, with rubber-like properties, excellent oil and weather resistance,
provides a gentle, comfortable fit and superior grip for active use.
Similar to the temple arms, the nose pad arms are also adjustable,
designed to be adjusted to the optimal shape for each individual.
■ Temple Rubber
TPR is used on the inside of the temple arms.
Temple rubber colors vary by model.
TPR material, with rubber-like properties, excellent oil and weather resistance, is gentle on the skin
providing a comfortable fit and superior grip for active use.
■ Hinges (5-barrel hinge)
Kanghua nickel silver is used for the barrel hinges.
In addition to nickel silver's characteristic corrosion resistance, it has high strength at high temperatures, making it an excellent alloy widely used in both corrosive and high-temperature environments.
Furthermore, a 5-barrel hinge is used instead of the common 3-barrel, making it robust against vertical forces and twisting.
