A new Japanese-made chambray staple that develops character with wear
●A work shirt from the JAPANDENIM series, committed to all Made-in-Japan production from fabric to sewing, using chambray fabric produced in Japan by Kaihara Co., Ltd.
●Uses lightweight chambray: indigo is 5.25oz and black is 5oz, offering a light, comfortable feel from spring and summer through early autumn.
●Uses slub yarns in the weft to reproduce the vintage-like, richly textured character unique to chambray.
●The warp yarns are rope-dyed—indigo dyed for indigo and sulfur dyed for black—allowing you to enjoy the processed look and natural aging produced by the dyeing.
●Based on 1980s vintage work shirts, updated for easier wear with contemporary styles.
●The silhouette has moderate ease, allowing a wide range of styling—from wearing it alone to layering—depending on your size choice.
●The triple-needle rolled seams switch thread colors on the front and back, and the open-loop finish at the side hem serves as a color accent—details are carefully crafted.
