Merino Wool + Cotton Loop Back Sweat Hoodie

This is a sweat series made of merino wool + cotton, with a nice heathered finish. We made a hoodie, crew neck, and V-neck. Wool has the property of absorbing moisture and trapping it within the fibers when you sweat. Therefore, even if the fabric gets wet from sweat, the surface remains dry. However, when the sweat exceeds a certain amount, the fibers become saturated with moisture and repel it.
This series was developed to provide maximum comfort even when sweating profusely during prolonged wear or outdoor sports in mid-winter. The outer layer is merino wool, but the lining is deliberately made of cotton pile. This allows it to adapt to a wide range of temperatures and humidity. I really like the classic American fabric feel. The V-neck has a deliberately deep V-zone. By wearing a shirt over a turtleneck without buttoning it, and then wearing this V-neck sweat over that, you can transform the sporty feel of the sweat into something more like a cardigan." (A.H)
