This is a tote bag with two uses.
When you have fewer items, it can be used as a flat "round bag" that utilizes its rounded bottom. When you have more items, it can be used as a "square bag" that stands upright by expanding its gusset.
Since it is self-standing, it is convenient to place on a desk or floor. It comes with an inner pocket.
The fabric used is "No. 7 canvas," which is no longer produced in Japan.
It is a rare fabric that maintains high strength while also having a softness that conforms to the body and shoulder.
The gray weft (horizontal thread) uses "pre-dyed yarn." Most fabrics on the market are dyed after they become fabric, and because the fabric is dyed afterward, it becomes thinner than the original fabric.
However, this time, since the dyeing was done at the "yarn" stage before it became fabric, not only can you enjoy the original texture of the woven fabric as it is, but the deep color, which cannot be achieved with ordinary canvas, also resulted in a unique finish.
