The exhibition "Emotion, Sign, Passion: On Godard's 'The Image Book'", which unravels the innovativeness of the cinematic expression of the master filmmaker Jean-Luc Godard and presents a new cinematic experience, has arrived in Japan and opened in Shinjuku on July 4th.
This is an installation curated by Swiss filmmaker Fabrice Aragno, who served as director of photography for "Film Socialisme" (2010) and was Godard's right-hand man in his later years, and was planned and designed in collaboration with director Jean-Luc Godard.
Kyoto Tsutaya Books will hold a fair commemorating this exhibition, featuring original goods and exploring Jean-Luc Godard as a film director.
