This is a tote bag that can be used in two ways.
When you have fewer items, it can be used as a flat "round bag" that utilizes its rounded bottom.
When you have many items, it can be used as a "square bag" that stands upright by expanding its gusset.
It is self-standing, making it convenient to place on a desk or floor. It has an inner pocket.
The fabric used is "No. 7 canvas," which is no longer produced in Japan. It is a rare fabric that maintains high strength while also being soft enough to conform to the body and shoulder.
The gray weft (horizontal thread) uses "pre-dyed yarn."
Most fabrics on the market are dyed after they become fabric, and because the fabric is dyed afterward, it becomes thinner than the original fabric.
However, this time, since the dyeing was done at the "yarn" stage before it became fabric, not only can you enjoy the original texture of the woven fabric as it is, but it also resulted in a unique, deep color that cannot be achieved with ordinary canvas.
