【SHAKA / Shaka】
A sandal brand that existed in the 1990s in the Republic of South Africa.
They produced high-quality, original designs at their own factory in South Africa. Incorporating traditional African patterns and colors, the sports sandals using nylon webbing, which was trendy in the late 90s, were sold widely in Japan. The brand began to gain recognition with the outdoor boom, but sadly disappeared in the early 2000s.
After more than a decade, SHAKA was revived in the spring of 2013.
