For the first official theatrical release in 25 years since their production, the visuals and audio have been fully supervised by Takashi Shimizu, the director and screenwriter, who is the "creator of the curse." This has created a new horror experience to be savored on the big screen, boosting the works. They have been converted to a 4K master with high resolution and detail, and the original stereo sound has been evolved into 5.1ch with surround effects, updated to deliver a delicate yet powerful horror experience.
