For their first official theatrical release 25 years after their production, director and screenwriter Takashi Shimizu, the "creator of the curse," has fully supervised both the visuals and audio. This has created a new terrifying experience to be savored on the big screen, boosting the works. They have been converted to a 4K master with high resolution and detail, and the original stereo sound has been evolved into 5.1ch with surround sound effects, updated to deliver a delicate yet powerful horror experience.
